My first groupons!

I've been wanting to attend Mac classes for ages but baking class is just a tad pricey. So when I stumbled upon this great offer on Groupsmore, I quickly grabbed the groupons in no time!

3 hours hand on macaroons baking workshop for a mere RM 90 instead of the usual RM 220  (55% off)!! 

This is quite a bargain rite?!! The class will be held at Taylor's College and will be handled by a proffesional pastry chef of 24 years experience! Hey, learning from the masterchef himself, who could resist the temptation!

Before desserts became an after meal indulgence, sugar was mostly used to feed stray ants and the kid next door. Sweeten your after dinner treats with today’s Groupon: for RM99, you get a three-hour hands-on macaroon baking class worth RM220.

Revisit the halcyon days of education years without the weight of exams or peer pressure to party. Chef Karam, a macaroon master trained by the illustrious Ladurée, showcases his 24 years experience by demonstrating the making and baking process. A simple demo is conducted after which budding pastry professors test their skill with the provided tools and ingredients. 


Students get to bring home five to ten macaroons, depending on how many were successfully made or accidentally eaten. Macaroon makers are advised to wear non-slip footwear, t-shirt and long pants but slippers are not allowed. A container for the macaroons should also be brought to avoid having to eat everything before leaving.

Anyways, I bought 2 groupons and my dear friend, Amira (whom I've not met in ages) agreed to join me. Yippee.. what else could you ask for? A baking class and a reunion? Can't wait for 2nd of July!
